Safaris - The Perfect Adventure

Safaris are the perfect enjoyable adventure for those who love to frolic in the outdoors and to travel. In the many wonderul natural settings of Africa, there are countless birds, animals, beaches, waterfalls, and flora to enjoy firsthand.

Among the various choices of safari locations are the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya, the Serengheti National Park in Tanzania, and the Kruger National Park in South Africa. There are many more safari locations in many other locations in Africa. The choice of which location to choose should be based primarily on what animals or scenery you wish to view on your safari adventure.

The choice of the time of year for your safari should always be planned for the dry season of that particular area. The reason for this is that the animals tend to congregate around the water holes which are scarcer in number during the dry season. Also, the foilage is much thicker during the rainy seasons which makes it more difficult to observe the animals.

The best time of the day to see the animals in their natural environments while on safari is at dawn and dusk. The animals are more active during these times of the day because they are usually resting during the midday when it it is warmest. The guides, who are usually local tribesmen, are most helpful in animal sightings by communicating by radio with one another. They are then able to spread information about the whereabouts of wildlife encounters. This allows more guests to come and witness various animal behaviors in their natural habitats.

For maximum enjoyment, choices must also be made as to what level of convenience you desire during your safari adventure. Various packages can range from a luxury experience in a hotel-like atmosphere to a tent-dwelling camping experience on virgin land.

You can choose a safari site with walking trails, mountainous hiking trails or water trails navigated by canoe. You can choose a safari site where there is horse-back, camel-back or elephant-back transportation. You can choose to drive yourself and your safari party in a 4X4 vehicle or to be driven and escorted by a local tribesman as your tour guide. You can even choose to travel by balloon while sipping champagne and viewing the spectacular scenery below.

Of course, whenever international travel is involved, obtaining the necessary vaccinations as well as a visa is required. It is important that the requirements for vaccinations for travel to specific locations is current as the vaccination requirements are subject to change. In addition, timely application should be made for the visa so that it is ready in time for the planned safari adventure.

So, do not forget your binoculars when you plan that enjoyable adventure. You will want to be sure that you can savor all of the wonderful sights as well as sounds of your safari. It is a wonderful adventure that will endure in your memory for a life time.

People who are on a safari get to witness these magnificent animals in their natural setting. When people make the choice to make their honeymoon a memorable experience, they are setting the tone for their marriage. They're saying that they fully plan on enjoying their lives together. Planning the Honeymoon So, when it comes time to plan the safari honeymoon there are a few ways that it can be done. First, the trip can be planned through your local travel agent. This is a good choice especially if they specialize in exotic destinations. The honeymoon can also be planned online through websites that specialize in safaris or exotic travel destinations. Another option is somewhat risky but will save money if it works out. Book a trip to South Africa and then book the safari when you get there. This could save a lot of money. However, it is a risk because they may not be offering safaris when you get there. Staying Safe While There Yes, a safari honeymoon is a fun, adventurous trip. However, there are some safety concerns. The objective is to view wild animals which means that their behavior could be unpredictable. The best thing to do is make sure that you listen to the guide.
